The Border and Shading Options dialog box appears. The Edge of Page option just doesn’t work with most printers.ħFrom the Measure From drop-down list, select the Text option. Click on 'Header and Footer' from the View options. Border Width 8To add more 'air' between your text and the border, increase the values in the Margin area.Īdding to the Margin amounts gives you a border that looks like it’s based on the edges of the page, even though it’s using the Text option. The border needs to be placed in the header to be behind the text and able to print on each subsequent page. But dont worry, the header can be dragged to border the entire page. The Border and Shading Option dialog box closes.
10Click OK to close the Borders and Shading dialog box.
Your page has a border, and that border will print in its entirety.
